Kicking Off 2026 at the Shawnessy Barn ✨
I’m so excited to share that my first market of 2026 is officially on the calendar! I’ll be setting up at The Shawnessy Barn for the January Market on Sunday, January 25, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM — and I can’t think of a better way to start a fresh year of making, connecting, and creating.
What I’ll Have at the Market
This market will feature a curated mix of familiar favourites and fresh new pieces, including:
-
🎨 Hand-dyed yarns in thoughtfully chosen bases
-
✨ Stitch markers (because you can never have too many)
-
🧵 Small project bags & pouches
-
👜 Travel & cosmetic bags
-
🖤 One-of-a-kind handbags and totes — no repeats, ever
Every piece is made with intention, personality, and a whole lot of love.
A Little Shift for 2026
This year, I’m intentionally focusing on a smaller selection of yarn bases. After plenty of experimenting (and amazing customer feedback!), I’ve found a few true favourites that I’ll be building on. This means more consistency, better results, and even more exciting colourways and collections ahead — without losing the creativity and spontaneity you know me for.
Don’t worry though — the good ol’ favourites aren’t going anywhere. They’ll be sticking around right alongside the new ideas I’ve been dreaming up.
I Want Your Input 💬
One of my favourite parts of markets is chatting with you in person, and I want to keep that conversation going:
-
What do you look for in a project bag?
-
What makes a daily handbag perfect for you?
-
Are there features, sizes, pockets, or styles you wish you could find more often?
Your feedback genuinely shapes what I design next, and 2026 is all about refining, listening, and growing.
Let’s Start the Year Together
If you’re local, I’d love for you to stop by, say hello, and kick off the year with me at the Shawnessy Barn. Whether you’re hunting for yarn inspiration, the perfect bag, or just want to browse handmade goodness — I can’t wait to see you there.
Here’s to a fresh year of markets, new ideas, and creative momentum.
